In 2020, she resigned from a multi-year contract with Fox network and left the series 911: Lone Star, fearing that the Covid-19 pandemic would make it difficult for her to return to London to see her family. And she has no more professional projects on the horizon.
The only performing she has done over the years was to appear in a few local theater productions in Reno, Nevada, having moved there in 1972. Her husband later became a developer. Beverly died at age 78 of a pulmonary embolism on November 23, 2005, and was survived by her son, James W. Jordan, and three step-daughters.
On the June 15, 2017, episode of The Talk, Tyler announced that she would be leaving the show at the end of the seventh season due to her busy schedule with three other television shows and directing films.
She is an Emmy-winning television host and multiple award-winning voice actor for Archer (2009). Aisha's feature directorial debut, Axis (2017), was shot in just seven days on location in Los Angeles in 2015 on a crowdfunded budget.
Her decision was due at least in part to concerns about traveling back and forth from her home in the U.K. to shoot the show in the U.S. with the Covid-19 pandemic still affecting both countries. Her character, Michelle Blake, will not be recast or killed off, leaving the door open for her to return.
